USA Today : Rep. Todd Akin says he will remain in the Missouri Senate race. The lawmaker announced his decision on former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee’s radio show. Akin stirred controversy over the weekend with comments saying pregnancy could be prevented in the case of ‘legitimate rape’ because ‘the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.’
