Farscape DVD

Rockne S. O'Bannon’s sci-fi series Farscape is getting a complete DVD boxset in the UK for the very first time...

Well, frell us dead. All four seasons of Rockne S. O'Bannon's sci-fi series, Farscape, are coming to DVD in a special collected edition.

For the princely sum of £99.99, you'll get all 88 episodes on 26 discs, along with 15 hours of bonus material, including Farscape Undressed, a documentary originally aired in 2001 to prepare fans for the third season, a Comic-Con panel, ‘making-of' featurettes, commentaries, deleted scenes, interviews, and sundry other extras.

Making its debut in 1999, Farscape was a huge cult hit and its abrupt cancellation after the final episode of series four aired provoked considerable outrage among fans, eventually leading to the appearance of Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, a four-part miniseries that wrapped up the narrative in 2004.

This is the first time that a complete collection of Farscape has been available in the UK, and will be available to buy from 15 November 2010.
